In conjunction with Holland & Holland and The Gamekeepers Welfare Trust. The PGPC committeeand I are extremely pleased to announce that we will be running a social distancing, PGPC Summer Charity Shoot this year, which will run from immediate effect until 30th September. By way of pre-booked 4-gun teams. This year we have over £2,500 of fantastic prizes on offer, so there’s everything to shoot for!
Competition to commence with immediate effect until 30th September 2020
Open to 4 gun teams only entering this competition.
It is a condition of competition entry that each team member must be a member of The Property Punt & Gun Club. Annual membership is £30. This will run for a full 12 months from the day membership payment is paid. Please use this link to join the club. https://www.pgpc.co.uk/membership
Failure of any gun and team to follow these instructions will result in their individual and team scores to be null & void. This decision is full and final.
100 bird sporting (shot over 10 stands – all sim pairs) which includes an optional charity stand (stand 8, high tower – driven targets which is part of the 10 stand non-charity overall PGPC competition scoring of 100 birds, if you wish to have additional goes there will be a small charge of 35p per clay) for The Gamekeepers Welfare Trust at £10 per entry. This will enter your stand 8 score into the bottle of Glenfarclas 30 yr single malt competition (£10 entries are to be paid in cash or bank transfer to the PGPC bank account with “Gamekeeper” as the reference)
Guns are also encouraged to generously donate personal undisclosed amounts to The Gamekeepers Welfare at the end of their shoot to The PGPC Club account using “Gamekeeper” as a reference
£225.00 per 4-gun team, prepaid directly to Holland & Holland, bring your own cartridges (they must be fibre wad, up to 28-gram cartridges & shot size 6 or smaller) or purchase on the day
All teams will be accompanied by a qualified Holland & Holland representative who will umpire and score the results
Shotgun & gun owners only, no loan guns on the day. Shotgun certificates must be shown on arrival to the Grounds prior to the Guided round. Failure to do so, may result in the loss of booking
This competition is strictly for guns that earn their living from the property industry (or guns that are now retired from the property industry)
The club committee decision is final
Non property industry shooters, instructors, topflight clay shooting competitors & shooting professionals are more than welcome to shoot however, they will not be entered into the competition.
Single guns that are not part of a team please register your interest with Chris Warman, we will be able to make-up suitable 4-gun teams.
Holland & Holland are offering a three-course lunch on the club’s terrace by separate booking.
Teams can enter the competition as many times as they wish to at the re-entry price of £225.00 per team, as long as the team includes the original teams members
Individuals can re-enter under another team however, that team’s score would not go forward to qualify for team prizes, that’s only qualifying for individual prizes

Our very much valued and loyal PGPC sponsor, Mr. Shaun Miller of Secure Site UK has generously donated the following prizes for first second and third teams -
1st place team, 4 bottles of Champagne in Shaun’s words “something special.” Plus £500.00 to be shared within the team
2nd place, £300.00 to be shared within the team
3rd place, £200.00 to be shared within the team.
In addition, the highest scoring teams each week of the competition will be entered into a free prize draw. The prize-winning team will be drawn at random after the competition has ended.
The prize is a masterclass shooting experience with CPSA Coach of the year, winner Simon Arbuckle at the award-winning Southdown Gun Club at Findon, near Worthing, West Sussex
Also included in this prize for the winning team drawn; lunch at the club and an afternoon's free shooting on the high tower, grouse butts or the sporting layout.

Top 2 guns from the lucky team drawn from the weekly high scoring teams win a pair of Edwards Eyewear designer shooting glasses. The glasses are co-developed by award winning optometrist Edward Lyons and World FITASC Champion Ed Solomons. The glasses are handmade in Italy to the highest standards and feature the most advanced Carl Zeiss sun lenses.
